Yale is #1 When it Comes to Student-Athlete Graduation Success Rate…
Each year the NCAA publishes a report on how often students graduate at each particular institution – otherwise known as the GSR or Graduation Success Rate. The Graduation Rates Institution Report gives graduation information about the most recent six-year graduating class of students and student-athletes who entered as freshmen in 2013-14. The graduation rate (percent) is based on a comparison of the number (N) of students who entered a college or university and the number of those who graduated within six years.
The women’s hockey program had a GSR of 100% along with 19 other Yale varsity athletic teams. You can read the full release HERE.
Kemp, Yale men’s player begins pro career after signing with the Edmonton Oilers.
And speaking of getting it done… kudos to men’s ice hockey player Phil Kemp who signed with the Edmonton Oilers this past week and will report to Vansby in Sweden. He will not only start his pro career this week, but finish his degree this Spring as well. You can read more on Kemp’s signing HERE.
Until next time…
